Sequence Enrichment Region Finder

The "Select from Organism" option retrieves protein sequences from UniProt across various species, defaulting to human.
We recommend an initial coarse screening using fixed-mode parameters, followed by exhaustive retrieval via formula-mode.
Example result
Step1 - Pattern
Pattern Syntax:
  • D-E: Matches D or E at the position.
  • DE: Matches the exact dipeptide "DE".
  • .D: Matches any residue followed by D.
Step2 - Sequence Input
Step3 - Analysis Mode
Default Mode: Fixed Mode (Target mode) (14, 20)
The analysis will scan the sequence with a sliding window of 20 characters. If a window contains 14 or more target characters, the entire sequence will be recorded. If you are not looking for a single character, such as DE (not D-E), you can adjust the parameters in the advanced mode.

Fixed Mode

Enter comma-separated hit/window pairs: hit1,window1,hit2,window2,...14,20,21,30,...

Formula Mode: Reference Points

Define two data points (Hit Count, Window Size) to calculate scanning window dynamically.
