Comparison between Frameshift and Wild-type

Perform a comparative analysis of frameshift mutation datasets using SERtool. Specifically, compare the differences in Smith-Waterman alignment scores between wild-type (HGVS-WT) and frameshift (HGVS-Frameshift) variants, and correlate these score differences with associated diseases to explore potential links between repetitive sequences and pathogenicity. For each comparison, you must input the result IDs generated under identical parameters for both HGVS-WT and HGVS-Frameshift runs. For example, for a given variant labeled H-R-K, if the default mode produces result ID A (788265003aa4c9bb71f3dd86584764e) for HGVS-WT and result ID B (4a0b6896ba15107d01e688c15c898c4) for HGVS-Frameshift, then enter A in the "Wild-Type Dataset ID" field and B in the "Frameshift Dataset ID" field.

Comparative Analysis

Note: The example IDs correspond to wild-type (WT) and frameshift (FS) analyses both run with pattern H-R-K and points (18,20), (30,50).
In the result tables, MAX indicates regions where repeats are either lost or gained in only one of the WT or FS datasets.
